Effective classroom discipline can be a real challenge for substitute teachers. Especially when you are in a new classroom, and just for the day. Some discipline techniques are enforced at certain schools, and outlawed at others. Some methods are effective, but controversial. Others are encouraged, but are minimally effective for substitute teachers. It is really hard to ever feel like you have it all figured out.
